1. Acceptance of these terms

LootSwarm is a community deals platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or posting content, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What LootSwarm is

LootSwarm lets a community of members post deals and price drops they find across the internet, upvote and comment on them, and confirm whether a deal still works. Deals link out to third-party retailers. We do not sell any of the products listed, set their prices, fulfill orders, or process payments for them.

3. Your account

You can create an account with an email and password or by signing in with Google or X. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, keep one account per person, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

4. Community content

You retain ownership of the deals, comments, and other content you post. By posting, you grant LootSwarm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service.

You are responsible for what you post and must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, spam, infringing, abusive, or that violates anyone’s rights. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.

5. Deals and pricing disclaimer

Deals are community-submitted and prices, availability, and terms change quickly. The “did it work?” confirmations reflect member reports, not a guarantee. Always verify the current price and terms at the retailer before purchasing. LootSwarm is not responsible for transactions you make with third-party retailers and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer mentioned.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no scraping, bulk data extraction, automated abuse, attempts to break authentication or access other users’ data, interference with the Service’s operation, or reverse engineering except as permitted by law. Do not use the Service to distribute malware or to harass others.

7. Sponsored content

The Service may show clearly-labeled sponsored placements. Sponsored content is visually distinct and never affects how community deals are ranked. Ranking is driven by the community, not by payment.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LootSwarm will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or any third-party retailer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
