How moderation works
When a moderator hides or removes a post, or suspends an account, they pick a reason from the list below, and the member gets a notice that says which one. Each decision can be appealed once, within 14 days (for a suspension, until 14 days after it ends); this page counts the appeals filed and the decisions they reversed. Reports a moderator reviewed and found nothing wrong with are counted too, and so are edits a moderator makes to a deal, with their reason.
Suspended members can't sign in, so they appeal by replying to the suspension email. Staff log those appeals in the same queue, and they're counted here like any other.
Marking a deal dead isn't a removal: the deal stays up, labeled dead, and isn't counted here.
